These are just some of the comments sent in from our readers - about the drawings produced by our new comic illustrator - John Sewell. |
John began to collect comic books - and to draw what he saw in them while he was still in public school.
Over the years - he has developed his skill - first reproducing - and now interpreting - the styles known as the 'Golden Age' of comic book publications.
To those of us who remember these comics - John's style is welcomed with a familiar - and nostalgic feeling. |

To younger readers who did not enjoy the classic comics of the Golden Age - John's drawings are just plain 'cool.'
A line here and a dot there - and facial expressions change from anger - to anxiety and to tears.
Our new comic booklet - What Do Pirates, Tea, Hong Kong, Heroin and Oxys Share in Common - is fully illustrated with John's masterful pen.
Check back soon - for his full color interpretation of our comic. |

Some of John Sewell's most impressive productions - are his poster sized interpretations of classic comic book covers. We are pleased to show you a small section of a work that he has just completed. Its gonna look amazing in its new frame - on a wall in SupportNet Studios.
John has just completed a series of three new covers. We've posted these to three new links on the right menu. But readers please be warned - these images are not for the faint of heart. These are some of the images that once resulted in a massive censureship of comic book publications. |
