Should more programs accept people on Methadone Treatment?
I believe that they should. But unfortunately there is a great deal of resistance to that becoming a reality.

Many of the persons who work in treatment programs have their own attitudes and opinions regarding methadone. They don’t always feel comfortable working with persons who are taking methadone.

I think over time that more and more facilities are going to offer methadone. That will be for the betterment of all concerned.
