Addictive Behaviors are any that are commonly associated with the addictive use of alcohol or other substances.

Examples of addictive behaviors include lying, stealing, searching for drugs or hiding evidence of use.

Addictive behaviors may sometimes occur in a person who is abstinent from alcohol or drugs. They may be a warning indication of relapsed use.

Agoraphobia or the fear of going outside alone may result from the experience of panic attacks.

Al Anon is a twelve step recovery program based on spiritual growth and mutual support. The only requirement to attend a meeting of Al Anon is that a friend or family member has had a problem with alcohol.

Amphetamines are a group of stimulant drugs that are abused for their intense energizing and euphoriant effect. Two examples of these drugs are dextroamphetamine and methamphetamine.

Drugs of this group are highly addictive and dangerous in many ways.

Those with Adult Attention Deficit Disorder have great difficulty to concentrate on tasks through to completion.

They may be easily distracted, bored, restless and always starting new things, but not able to see chores through to completion.

Some people will experience mixed symptoms of different anxiety disorders. Atypical Anxiety Disorder may be diagnosed when panic episodes, excessive worry, social anxiety and other symptoms occur in the same person.

Some people with Atypical or Other Mood Disorder show mixed symptoms of different mood disorder.

Otherwise, they may demonstrate symptoms of mood disorder, but do not describe low mood at all. Mood Disorder may present with chronic pain or headache, excessive worry or social withdrawal.
