I've known not to have a first drink for twelve years. But nobody told me not to take a prescription for oxycocet from my doctor. I hurt my back at work - and he gave me that stuff. Never once said that I could get addicted - and he knew how alcohol nearly killed me - like it did my dad. Every time I tried to stop - the pain got worse - and the good ol doc upped my script. I knew that hell could exist in a bottle. But I didn't know them managed to also squeeze it into those little pills.

Its not the last drink that will do me in. Its the first. I have no idea where or in what condition I'll end up - if I choose to take that first drink ever again. I pray not.
