I refused to pray. I thought it was stupid to think there was some guy with a beard - sitting on a chair in the sky. AA taught me that its not about a guy out there pulling strings for me - that it's about me coming to believe that I'm not God - that I'm not in charge of everything and everybody. Humility is the word. I ask for help to live life sober and true - and I give thanks no matter what. Who know's who's listening. I just know that it helps me more than any drug ever did.
